Crash

Due to all the Oscar Buzz, I had to catch the supposed best movie of 2005. And I must say, a highly enjoyable and important little film it proved to be. For those of you who haven't caught it yet, it would be worth the rental and so I can talk about it with you without ruining the plot. The characters were so powerful in that everyone was so disgustingly racist and had their failing points to a certain degree, but no one was the depiction of a sterotype and they all found their way through their struggles. A very fucking impressive narrative, it definatly toys with your emotional chords and the movie is so well paced that you can't help but not pay attention. So I have to agree with you, Oscar voters, but I still with Walk the Line got at least a nominee nod.
