The Life of Reidy

Probably the movie that's getting the most buzz with me lately, being a professional pirate and all. Everyone seems so quick to bitch out this movie but I enjoyed it to all hell. I liked it just as much as the first movie, but for different reasons. People complained about Jack being a dick, where I saw it as a fucked up pirate who was constantly waiting for the axe to fall, so I thought it was justified. People said Elizabeth's infatuation for Jack came out of nowhere, but she's been obsessed with pirates since the FIRST FUCKING SCENE OF THE FIRST MOVIE. Otherwise, none of these plots whould have happened! So again, no problems there. People say Will Turner did shit, but he did just as little in the first movie, he's the straight guy to even out the living farce that was Jack Sparrow. And he had even more to do now that he realized his father was alive. Davey Jones was one kick ass villian, and I fucking LOVED what they did with Norrington's character. At first I thought they couldn't get the actor back so they just replaced the character, but I was very happily surprised, and enjoyed his part way more in the movie. I also enjoyed how this movie assured me that they are thinking in terms of a great trilogy, since I was extremely let down with the half ass job the Matrix Trilogy ended up to be. In the end, this movie highly met my expectations, and all your bitching isn't going to change my mind, so there.

Reidy's Favorite Part: That three way-wheel fight will go down as one of the greatest action scenes in film history.
