10 November
Opening Night for 10 November last night was a roaring success. We pretty much had a full house, and they were quite willing and receptive to the crazy, obscure theatrics we were throwing in their faces. This was pretty much the first time we have had an actual audience too, so it was somewaht intimidating at first but once everyone could laugh about it it was smooth sailing. They loved it and ate every little bit of it.
Another great thing about this show is that there are no stars. The eight other guys and myself all have just as much things to do and everyone gets their own little moments to shine, but the show works because of the strong ensamble we have formed together. Throw in some beautiful singing and its quite a treat for anyone, even if they know nothing of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald. After all, it isn't about the events, it's about the people.
Come check it out, this weekend or next weekend up here in Salem. That is, if you can brave the mobs of Halloweentown.
