Hobbit Movie
I was a huge fan of the new Lord of the Rings movie when they came out a few years ago, and I was quite excited when I heard there was speculation of there being a Hobbit movie in the works. Apparently, a huge petition was formed together and now that dream is looking more like a reality. Peter Jackson himself is now currently in the early negotiation stages of making a big screen adaptaion of Tolkien's heart-filled prequel to the Trilogy, "The Hobbit."
Now leaves a question of casting: who will fill the Hobbit feet of Bilbow Baggins? It would probably be unwise at this point to bring in the ol' champ, Ian Holm. Maybe some B-List celebrity, who deserves their chance to shine. Of course, if Andy Serkis and Ian McKellan don't reprise their roles as Gollum and Gandalf respectively, it will take a hard time to convince me that it will be worth it. MGM, don't fail me now.
