School Closings

Apparently, classes were cancelled on the South Campus today because the city was working on a busted pipeline. Too bad all of my classes are on North Campus.

That is the wonderful thing about my school. Not only are we in New England and get about 20 freak weather storms to help cancel classes, but we are also in a poorly designed city. Everytime it rains pretty heavily, classes will have to be cancelled because the city pipelines burst or the parking lots become flooded. It makes me kind of wonder what knuckleheads designed this place in the first place, but then I realized this whole town is pretty historical.

On one hand, it is great because history is being perserved through these ancient, untocuhed buildings, but on the other hand it can be a pain in the butt to live around in a city that tries to hard to make itself fit into the rest of the contemporary world. ESPECIALLY right now, in the middle of tourist season.

Just needed that rant for a second.
