More Flooring
I've posted before about how much I enjoy area rugs over carpeting, but I would have to say that over anything you just can't beat gorgeous laminate flooring over anything else. You just can't deny how classy a clean, hardwood floor looks in any home and makes it an overall nicer place to be in.
The problem is that laminate flooring is difficult to maintain. Not only is it easy to catch any scratches in the surface that may happen, but you also shouldn't run those hefty vacumms over the floor to clean it. I find that with laminate flooring you seem to be sweeping and mopping a lot more than you would with some simple carpeting or tiling. But then again, if you are someone like me who doesn't mind cleaning, it wouldn't be a problem keeping your hardwood floor looking it's best at all time. I guess it's really just a matter of preference, but for more practical online tips about flooring and other things, check this out.
