The MPAA Took My Baby Away

The MPAA is always up to some squandering for extra money, but who can blame them I suppose. They get sued to no end if films arent' properly rated, and people just aren't going out to the thaters as much as they used to. And why would they, with such a rising popularity in home theater and HD-DVD quality films that you can purchase and watch anytime from the comfort of your own couch?

It's this kind of comfort that the MPAA is now switching it's targets towards. The MPAA is lobbying with congress to push for a new bill that would make any "unauthorized" home theaters illegal. These guys think that all theaters should be sanctioned, whether they be commercial settings or at home. This is kind of pretentious, because people buy their home theaters in pieces from many different stores, so it will be rather interesting to see how they would regulate such an act if this bill is actually passed. Good luck, home theater goers.
