Post-Election Day

Here in MA, it was pretty obvious that Deval Patrick was going to sweep the votes. I'm fairly sure everyone up here in New England believes in a strong democratic leader, so there was really no reason he shouldn't have won.

What's even more exciting is that the Democrats won enough seats in the senate on Tuesday to have majority and take control of the U.S. Senate. President George W. Bush's Republican Party now sits not quite as strongly as before, and more importantly the Democrats are holding both houses of Congress for the first time in 12 years. This is great news to me, it's finally showing that Americans are craving for a relief from the nonsense that is their government right now. From the chaos, we will once again have order.
