The Life of Reidy

Holiday breaks over, time to get back to the ol' rat races. This semester I kind of have to juggle an awkward class scheduele as well as my usual office hours, it should be a bit tricky. It's also very discouraging to find out that over the break half of my staff quit, and my supervisor herself is leaving at the end of the week. Not only does this mean that I will have more responsibility for an office job I don't really like, but I will also have to be teaching my boss's replacement all of the ropes to her job. Hopefully they will hire a few more hands sooner then later, I've got way too much work to get done to worry myself over others responsibilites.

Has something like this ever happened to you? With a job you want to quit in the first place, and then everyone else quits, what do you do? Do you stick it out and show what a great employee you are by sticking with it despite your preference, or do you join them and really leave your employment high and dry? It's a stick situation.
