A Good Cause
I would like to take this time to open up the possibiliy of being an Egg Donor for those not so fortunate families. It seems like a strange idea taht might put off a bunch of people, but I've been considering donating sperm as well because more and more these days I see people who have entirely too much trouble bearing children. Some of my good friends have tried and failed to have children and really could use the support of willing donors. It's a good cause, I feel in this case the end justifies the means. Check out the links for more info on Egg Donations.
YES!
Looks like my performance in "Ten November" was praiseworthy enough to get me nominated for ACTF. This is fairly fucking exciting, a big ol' "in-your-face" to all the people that have been trying to put me down for the past four years. For those who don't know the deal, respondants came to the show and picked two actors and one alternate to go and compete for the Irene Ryan scholarship. Either way, going to the festival is a big honor and a great way to make connections, and I can not wait to go again this year. That is why I'm fairly frigging excited.
Good Ol' Nascar
I've blogged before about my love for a good ol' driving machine, and now I'd like to key some of you readers into a great site where people can just chat in a straight upNASCAR forum with other folks online. Usually these kind of forums drive me crazy, but this one is very well made and inviting for everyone who has the slightest intrest in NASCAR and wants to get their opinions out there in the eyes of fellow fans. Even if you're new to the fast and furious world of racecar driving, the site is welcoming for people to post their questions in a friendly, non-threatening atmosphere. I highly recommend this forum.
Don't have a cow man, seriously?
I don't know if anyone else caught this little news snippet, but apparently the FDA is all gung-ho for this concept of cloning animals for people to eat. The goverenment thinks that with a push in the cloning of animals we can actually have a more consistant quality of meat that is more efficiently produced. Studies prove that the animals will be just as good if they are cloned and that it would be safe for humans to eat everyday, yet 60% of Americans still do not like the idea of their meat and milk being produced by cloned animals. This is a very interesting dabate going on. Should we let the government play god, so that we not go hungry? Is there a chance this cloning could in turn solve world hunger? Or are there enough serious moral issues to send this plan firing back in their faces?
Either way, now I want steak.

Mini Landmarks
Holiday season is going to fly up on my quicker then I think, and I'm always looking for unique gifts that I can get for people. Or dare I say, I seem to have stumbled upon some Elegant gifts and collectibles with Crystal Palace Landmarks. They make a large variety of miniture sculputres of famous landmarks all over the world, and their gifts are some of the most detailed, beautiful things I have ever seen, at least on pictures through the internet. These gifts I feel qould be ideal for my old folks who like to travel around a lot and see some of the places they have re-sculpted in gorgeous crystal. You can check it out for yourself, but I figured I would give you a little sneak preview:

Poor PS3
Apparently, Sony will be getting slammed harder then we thought. I caught a few reviews and speculations from some online articles written by some of my favorite guys down at IGN:
"When you see the 360 version and you see the PS3 version right next to it the 360 is by and large looking better." - Matt C
"(Marvel Alliance) is running in 1080P on the PS3 which is cool but it was also running much slower, the framerate was not nearly as nice." - Matt C
"Call of Duty was far and away better looking on the 360"- Matt C
"(PS3) may not have a very strong line up...but you can go back and play a great majority of the PS1 and PS2 games.." Jeremy Dunham from PS3 IGN
"I dont think there is a reason to rush out and pick up a PS3...unless you are one of those types of people..." - Jeremy Dunham from PS3 IGN
This is kind of upsetting, given my love for the Playstation 2 and all the great hours of entertainment it has brought me. What is a poor gamer to do?
