Business Buddies
Let's be honest here, everyone hates the pressure of being reviewed on their work performance, both employees and employers alike. Personally, I got all worked up over my perfomance review even though I'm not intimidated by my boss at all, but just the pressure got to me. In the end I did pretty fine, but I still which there were a better way of getting through the grueling process. Luckily now theres a better way through the magic of the internet when your business can get 360 performance reviews from Appraisal360. Basically this is a great tool where you and your coworkers can get connected and review each other honestly and anonymously, to avoid that awkward confrontation and help improve the quality and work ethic around the office. It uses a series of carefully constructed questions to keep the opinions productive and confidential. If this sounds like something you could benefit from, then totally check it out through the link above!

Children of Men
I got to catch Children of Men last night with my buddy Nugget, and it was pretty awesome. It gave that same impact and rush of action like Saving Private Ryan, except it hasn't even happened yet. The plot pits former activist Clive Owen in the not too distant future where women have been infertile for about 18 years and all of humanity is going insane as the end grows near. Right from the very beginning, the movie is a rush of energy as the camera follows Clive Owen around, almost as if we were experiencing everything with him. It really makes this science fiction seem that much more real and gritty, and makes the action and violence so much more intense. Especially with some amazing camera work and direction from Cuaron, including amazing 9 minute long takes to keep things interesting. Definatly worth the price of admission, and if this movie does not get recognized at the oscars this year then something is terribly wrong.

For all you unknown bands and musicians out there, a new web site was launched less than a week ago that is perfect for you. Not only can they put up their own profile to get their music heard, but anyone can browse the site and search for new unknown artists that might tickle their musical fancies. Theres also lots of cool featues you get for registering onto the site, you can use their page builder to make your page and their media player to organize your favorite artists, make playlists and even burn cds of what you hear from the site! It's still in the beta stages, but of course it will only get bigger when more people start signing up, so sign up now and open your ears top something new!
