Voice Over Work
It's about time PayPerPost threw something up that relates to my main career choice. Apparently Voices.com offers a great service for actors like myself who want to get into voice over work. It's a great easy service that lets the actor post their resumes along with audio samples for agents and other clients to browse through and scope out the kind of talent that they want. If you check out the image below, it's kind of a sampling of what they do at the website. Check it out, fellow thesbians. We need all the help we can get, don't we?

Stupid Radio
Don't you hate it when you hear an awesome song on the radio, but you have no idea what it is called? Not only can it be really frusterating to not figure it out, but half the time the radio won't even say what it is called. Hopefully if you can remember a lyric or two you can google the lyrics in quotes and get the answer, but I wish things were more convinient then that.
Another thing that bugs me is when you are watching a movie and you don't have that handy digital cable guide and you don't know what movie you are watching. I saw some weird movie on TV the other day where Matthew Broderick lost his virginity to some hooker, and it was driving me crazy because I couldn't think of what the movie was called.
That is all.

Free Stuff, Why Not?
Let's face it kids, the days of free internet music downloads are over, sooner or later we'll have to pay a price. But luckily, theres a great little offer going on from the folks at Vimo. Basically, their website is one of the best on the internet for people who want to compare their health care. All you have to do is post a review of a doctor or two after a quick, free registration and they will instantly give you five free downloads from emusic.com for free! Theres no catches, no crazy internet bugs involved, they just want you to try out their great service and in exchange you get some free mp3s from a huge online library. What have you got to lose? Well, nothing really!

Oh yes.

Oh yes.
The Prestige
Last night I got to catch a late show of "The Prestige" after waiting quite a while for the chance to do so. I'd say, overall, I enjoyed watching this film. I love Christopher Nolan's filmmaking style, he truely has a talent for coming up with a crafty, well-thought plot and telling it in a completly non-linear fashion. For example, Memento was awesome because we learned things after they had already happened since the story is told backwards, and the very first thing that happens was so simple and yet it totally messes with your head.
That being said, "The Prestige" certainly kept me guessing and enaged in this magician's rivalry, but in the end I felt we didn't quite get the payoff we had been waiting for. Figuring out the riddles along the way was neat and as captivating as ever, but by the time the BIG mystery came to an answer I felt like it was way too simple, and somewhat easy to tell if you had been paying attention. But the film is definatly worth checking out. The story is pretty neat, the acting is top notch and Christian Bale amazes me yet again with an all new accent. This man does not get enough work.
