Cookin' Up Some Buzz
I wish I could took up more of a hobby in cooking. When I was a kid, I was a rather fussy eater, but when I got to college and realized I was turning into a starving actor I began to eat everything, and I loved it. I have such a taste for good food now and I love to help people make it. Browsing through this handy Kitchen Appliance Guide gave me more of an incentive to start getting into actually cooking for myself more. It is a great little site that shows you all the different brands of cooking appliances that can get me started in my new endevours. In fact, I've already started by looking into the smoothie makers section. I used to work at Friendly's so I would mkix together fabulous concotions of different fruits and ice creams and such to make delicious smoothies, even if they weren't on the menu. On that link there are great straightforward guides of different kinds of brands and even tutorials on how to make good ol smoothies of your own. Of course theres more to the site then just smoothie makers, they cover all the essential cooking appliances great for any aspiring chef. Check it out, pizanos!
School Closings
Apparently, classes were cancelled on the South Campus today because the city was working on a busted pipeline. Too bad all of my classes are on North Campus.
That is the wonderful thing about my school. Not only are we in New England and get about 20 freak weather storms to help cancel classes, but we are also in a poorly designed city. Everytime it rains pretty heavily, classes will have to be cancelled because the city pipelines burst or the parking lots become flooded. It makes me kind of wonder what knuckleheads designed this place in the first place, but then I realized this whole town is pretty historical.
On one hand, it is great because history is being perserved through these ancient, untocuhed buildings, but on the other hand it can be a pain in the butt to live around in a city that tries to hard to make itself fit into the rest of the contemporary world. ESPECIALLY right now, in the middle of tourist season.
Just needed that rant for a second.

Silly Parents
Working at the Pirate Museum, we get a lot of families from all over the country coming in and out everyday. This also means theres plenty of parents with strollers and what not, which isn't the most convinient thing all the time since there are stairs that go up and down through the museum and we have to ask people to leave them behind. Come of the parents have the most bizarre stollers ever that simply aren't suitable for their kids at all, and could really use the aid of a nice Pushchair Guide like the one hidden within that link. Now I'm all about letting kids walk everywhere, but for people who want to ensure that their children will be safe when they are constantly on the go, that web site is a must-see. Parents can read up on all kinds of safety procedures and browse guides of strollers and pushchairs to help them find the one that best suits their needs and their budgets. Now maybe if more people browsed website like these, they wouldn't feel so hastled when they come try to take their children through the land of witches and pirates! Yar!
Callbacks
Lots of you folks know I did some auditioning this weekend, and now I guess it finally payed off. I got called back for all four shows, meaning I will have six hours of callbacks to go from one right after the other.
From 4-6:30 today I will be at callbacks for Farenheit 451. I was pretty excited about this project because I loved the book, but recent rumors have led me to maybe not want to be involved. Regardless, I will still go and give it my all. Then from 7-9 I am being called back for Company while people from the Snow Queen sit in and see who they want to consider. I'm pretty excited for that, not to toot my own horn or anything but I talked with some friends and I think I might stand a good chance for it, which would be nice to finish out the year with a big ol' musical. Then from 9-10 I finish off my marathon with callbacks for What the Butler Saw, which I would also not mind doing because it is a hilarious script and I love the production staff working on it with all my heart. Either way, I'll have six hours to kick some ass so here goes nothing!

Living Healthy and Not So Costly
I may do a lot of joking around on this blog, but one thing that has always been an importance in my family is the ever so important health care insurance we all need. Theres a lot of insurance companies out there who can just plain rip you off, and my dad has been jumping from job to job lately so there isn't always a constant, reliable insurance for us. Luckily, I stumbled across Vimo, which is just what anyone browsing for health insurance really needs. It's basically the only web site on the net that will give you side-by-side comparisons of different Health-Savings Accounts and insurance policies. It even has a comprehensive guide of doctors, dentists, and medical procedures so you can easily browse the site and find out what will work best for you. I tell ya folks, I don't know what people did before the internet. Magically, my piles of comparisons and paperwork is all condensed electronically to make life more convinient for everyone.
